THE JOURNEY
The journey it has been
Maybe shall always be!
Has gathered lows and highs
Foes with greed, friends in need
Yet indeed
Led us to learn
From the old not young
Of life
Of respect to earn
Of ambition left to burn
Not only to decipher
But also deliver
So that despite the warming airs
The raging waters of polluted sea
The dying soul, the shed of blood
Broken virtues
Or failing fathers*
We do not falter
But just as natural as the sun
Or fugitive mothers love for son
Our hearts yarn for heights
That satisfies our spirit
And define our character.
To wake and walk the new chapter
And pain for gains
To live to give
To share
Small or large
And with beauty and piety
To laugh and love
Never to fail or feign
But with FAITH
